The walk began at sunset, at the hour when low light hollows out the bronzes and stretches shadows across the grass. Then dusk came, and the works were lit one by one. The same sculptures, passed a hundred times in daylight, no longer presented themselves in the same way at all.
Light refreshments were served on site, so that the evening could carry on without leaving the park.
