See the full programmeThe museum took part in Partir en livre, the national children's book festival, with two afternoons in the park on the theme of heroes great and small.
On the programme: storytelling in the shade of the trees, kamishibai sessions (the Japanese picture theatre in which the story unfolds board by board), origami workshops centred on the crane, an introduction to calligraphy, and a sculpture workshop where everyone modelled a hero of their own.
The park lent itself to it rather well: a hundred and fifty bronze figures make an attentive audience.

For one evening, the hundred and fifty sculptures in the park were seen in another light, as the day faded.
